In X2 15323 (12.6), the cost_centre was moved from projects to work packages. You will therefore be able to gain access to the cost_centre_id and cost_centre_name via the this REST call.

/rest/work_packages/for_project_lowest/1

  • Get for ID 1
  • fullname gives you the full tree path of names.
